As blogging goes and writing in general I'm pretty bloody lazy. Or maybe it's not a matter of laziness but of decisiveness. There are so many words. So many ways to turn a phrase. I just can't decide. And so I hover, whether pen over page, or finger strumming the keyboard.
As this whole blog thing gets posted newest to oldest, so long as I keep up with frequent entries, probably very few people will actually read this one in particular. But let's hope they do.
First off I wanna give a little shout out to a few of those friends and colleagues who are always available emotionally and professionally. It has been very cool over the past ten years of knowing them (we all met in theatre school) to see each one on his or her path, cutting trails and making the most of everything.
So here's to Joshua Browne, Jennifer Polansky and Jessica Rose.
Jessica Rose is the founder and operator of an incredible website for actors in Toronto called Actors Connective Toronto. Check it out here. You can also see more of Jessica on her twitter @thejessrose or actor website Official Jessica Rose here.
Jennifer Polansky is another business savvy, beautiful and tough-as-nails actor who is currently living and working in New York. What ever the acting challenge, Jen can nail it. She also has a website you can see here.
And as for Joshua Browne, he is one of my closest and dearest friends. He's a little obscure on any media and at one point someone may have been operating a twitter account pretending to be him, but for the real deal check out @Joshu_ashua.
Next I want give a thanks and bring attention to a great blog/website/acting resource I just found this evening called The Struggling Actress. Here is the link to a great article written by Lira Kellerman @lirabobeera.
